Our Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

We’re doing the best thing we can: praying! We pray

• for those who are ill, that they will be healed and restored
• for protection for our churches, our families and ourselves
• for everyone in the healthcare sector and the medical researchers
• for the responsible politicians, that they will have wisdom in handling this crisis – also around the world
• for us as Christians, that we will be good examples during this time and use the opportunities for talking to people and counseling them
• for an openness to the gospel and that people will respond to the various livestream church services available

A copy of our safety plan in line with the applicable national legal requirements is available through the National Offices. All measures in this safety plan are applicable until further notice for all local churches of the Church of God in Germany and are mandatory when conducting church services and similar meetings/events.
Since our local churches are based in different federal states, and since hygiene and safety guidelines fall under the jurisdiction of the respective state, any state or local regulations that go beyond those outlined in our safety plan shall apply.
